My Top 5 Perfumes

Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche
This is a lovely fresh floral fragrance.  This is a fragrance I usually wear in the evening or a special occasion as I love the perfume so much I try to save it!  Top notes in the fragrance are: lemon and cedar; middle notes are pink pepper, water hyacinth and jasmine; base notes are teak wood, iris, amber, patchouli, vetiver and white musk.  The perfume was launched in 2007 and it's one I always want in my collection and will repurchase when I run out.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau Fresh
This is a new purchase in my perfume collection, I was recently on holiday when I found this huge size bottle of 125ml.  After spraying this all over myself for months whenever I see it in the shops, I wanted to get it while I could buy it at such a great price.  I love the fresh version as it's much lighter than the orginal Daisy, so I tend to wear this during the day.  Its a girly fragrance and when I first smelt it, it reminded me of something an older lady would wear - perhaps one of my grandmothers!  But it isnt one of those heavy, strong perfumes, it's a light floral and sophisticated scent.  So glad I bought this large bottle as it's a perfect everyday fragrance for me in my collection.

Tresor by Lancome
This was another fragrance I picked up whilst on holiday this year.  Again, I got it at a great price and it was more of a impulse purchase as it was so cheap!  I didn't really think it would be a fragrance I would want in my collection, it was simply a great deal I didn't want to miss out on.  However, when I got it home, this is now my go-to evening frangrance!  When I found out more about this perfume, I was surprised to hear it was launched in 1990.  Many people recommend this as a day wear perfume, but for me it's too heavy to wear in the day.  It has a sharp, oriental scent, with lilac, musc, apricot and amber.  I love to wear this scent when I go out to dinner in the evening as it's strong enough to make a statement; but not too over powering and obvious!

Miss Dior Cherie
This is the sweetest smelling perfume I own.  It's a typical girly scent - and I love Dior as a brand.  The bottle is beautful.  There is a silver bow which can be removed and worn as a ring, which I think is a clever, well thought out design.  Miss Dior Cherie has top notes of green tangerine and strawberry leaves. The Heart notes of Miss Dior Cherie is violette, pink jasmine, carmelized popcorn, and strawberry sorbet. Base notes of fresh patchouli and crystalline musk.  This is a fragrance I wear in the evening as I think it's too much for daytime for me.

Dior J'adore
For me this is a timeless scent.  I like to wear this during the day.  This feminine scent possesses a blend of floral orchids, violets, rose and blackberry musk.  It's a fragrance that would be appropriate to wear to a meeting, a real sophisticated and classy scent in my opinion.  This is a perfume I will always have in my collection for the days I want to feel classy!
